Latest Project at Somers Park Primary School, Portsmouth

This is our latest project at Somers Park Primary School in Portsmouth

Constructed from chestnut poles with chestnut cladding for the walls. The balustrades on the ramps are also chestnut .The roof is Eastern White Cedar and all materials are certified to come from renewable sources

Treehouse in Ash tree - Price guide £15,500

Built in an ash tree this treehouse was constructed from chestnut poles and clad with chestnut cladding with a white cedar shingled roof.

It was accessed via a rope bridge that led to a platform in a nearby oak tree and from there across a smaller rope bridge to the main treehouse. The treads of the bridge were also made from chestnut and the sides and handrail from manila rope

Observation Platform - Price guide £3,750

This observation platfom, built between two oaks was constructed in the grounds of Copyhold Hollow Bed and Breakfast and offers beautiful views of the surrounding Sussex countryside. It is also an excellent place for bird watching in the surrounding woodland.

The platform is built from local Sussex chestnut with green oak boarding used for the decking.

Treehouse on Stilts - Price guide £3,250

When there is no suitable tree, a treehouse can be built on stilts.

This one in Lewes, East Sussex stands on chestnut poles. The windows were sourced from a reclamation yard.

Other woodland products

We also make other products with timber from local woodland. All our products are individually hand made and unique but as a guide to prices the items shown here are (clockwise from top left), pergola £700, climbing frame £850, sunburst back chair £85, sun burst garden bench £195 and the chestnut arbour with the bark left on is £425.

All products are made from oak and sweet chestnut, a naturally durable hardwood which can be be used externally without treatment.
